When the service is needed
A court-appointed examination may be needed in disputes with sellers, service centres, contractors, insurers or management companies. Questions usually concern the defect's cause and time of origin, repairability, safe use and restoration costs.
What the work includes
- analysis of documents, receipts, warranty cards, records and correspondence;
- formulating questions for examination;
- inspection and recording signs of faults;
- assessing possible manufacturing, use, repair or external causes;
- preparing a specialist opinion or materials for court.
Documents to prepare where possible
Receipt, contract, warranty card, service report, work order, photos/videos of the fault, claim, seller's reply and documents about an accident or voltage surge.
